Reporting Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Data & Reporting

  • Maintain and update Excel and Power BI reports on daily, weekly & monthly schedules
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports
  • Extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources
  • Build and improve dashboards to support business decision-making

Analysis

  • Support ad-hoc analysis requests from sales team, customers & management
  • Provide analysis (e.g. variance commentary) to identify trends, issues, and insights
  • Present findings in a clear and practical way

Power BI

  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Work with data models and DAX measures
  • Monitor report performance and resolve issues

Stakeholder Support

  • Work with business users to understand reporting needs
  • Translate requirements into simple reporting solutions
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for reports

Data Management

  • Maintain database integrity through monthly checks and updates
  • Assist in organising and documenting data sources
  • Support data best practices for reporting processes


Skills & Experience

Required

  • Strong Excel skills including Power Pivot & Power Query (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation)
  • Experience with Power BI (report building and basic DAX)
  • Ability to work with and understand structured data
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • 2-4 years’ experience in a reporting, finance, or data role
  • Degree in business, finance, data, or a related field
  • Exposure to SQL or databases (nice to have, not essential)
