Senior Manager IT Infrastructure

Job Summary

As a Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure, you will oversee the organisation’s entire IT infrastructure,
ensuring its stability, security, and efficiency. You will lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and direction in designing, implementing, and maintaining all IT systems. Your role involves strategic planning for current and future infrastructure needs, budget management, vendor relations, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Additionally, you will collaborate
closely with other departments to understand their technology requirements and align infrastructure
solutions accordingly to support the organisation’s overall objectives.

Outline of Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies, policies, and procedures to support organisational goals.
• Manage IT infrastructure projects, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Evaluate the business unit budget and costs associated with technological training.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT systems.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance infrastructure systems’ efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth.
• Responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance.
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies, policies, and procedures to support organisational goals.
• Establishing and maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as vendors, regulators, and auditors.
• Assisting the IT department and end-users with technical support and troubleshooting.
• Delivering performance metrics on KPIs.
