Senior Manager Information Security

Job Summary

As the Senior Manager of Information Security, you will oversee and manage the organisation’s
information security program. You will lead a team of security professionals and work closely with other
departments to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. This role
requires a deep understanding of information security principles, risk management, and compliance
requirements.

Outline of Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
• Be a champion for Information Security both internally and externally.
• Keep up to date with the latest in information security.
• Assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities and weaknesses and for possible upgrades or improvements.
• Provide information security awareness training to organisation personnel.
• Evaluate the business unit budget and costs associated with technological training.
• Understand the security needs of internal and external stakeholders, regulators, and auditors.
• Support the development and execution of an overall IT Security Plan.
• Enforce infrastructure security, including Microsoft, Linux/Unix, Workstations, and POS terminals.
• Implement and oversee technological upgrades, improvements and significant changes to the information security environment.
• Develop standardised documentation to create a record of breaches.
• Create a business continuity plan for a data breach or cyber-attack.
• Coordinating regular penetration tests, vulnerability scans, etc.
• Identify weaknesses in network protections and remediate them.
• Analyze traffic flows, system logs, Perform risk assessments and testing
• Develop a long-term cybersecurity roadmap.
• Contribute to creating a culture of risk and control centered on proactive awareness of and
enhancement of the control environments.
• Mentor the IT Security team members and implement professional development plans for all team
members.
