THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As Salesforce Administrator, you’ll join the team as a go-to expert for keeping our Salesforce Sales Cloud platform running smoothly. You’ll support teams across Sales, Marketing, and Customer by managing day-to-day requests, improving processes, and ensuring our data stays clean and reliable.
You’ll join a collaborative, fast-moving team where your work directly impacts how efficiently we operate and how effectively we serve our customers. Working closely with Sales, Customer, Marketing, and Data teams, you’ll help streamline workflows, build better reporting, and make Salesforce easier and more valuable for everyone who uses it.
DAY-TO-DAY (ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES)
• Serve as a system administrator for Salesforce Sales and Marketing Cloud environments.
• Manage user accounts, profiles, permission sets, and security settings.
• Import, update, and manage leads, contacts, and account data.
• Maintain high data quality through ongoing deduplication, standardisation, and validation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, errors, and bugs.
• Respond to and resolve user queries, providing training and guidance where needed.
• Recommend and implement data quality, process, and reporting improvements.
• Identify system inefficiencies and propose enhancements to optimise workflows.
• Capture and document system changes, fixes, and enhancements for governance.
• Build, optimise, and maintain reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Design and manage automation, including flows and validation rules.
• Collaborate with the Operations and Data Teams to improve and maintain integrations with Salesforce.
• Support ad hoc Salesforce-related requests and projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS
• Proven Salesforce expertise—Hands-on experience administering Salesforce Sales Cloud (and ideally Account Engagement (Pardot)), with a track record of managing complex orgs and delivering value to end users.
• Industry knowledge—Experience in the SaaS or logistics space is highly desirable, with an understanding of how Salesforce can drive efficiency in these industries.
• Sales, Customer & Marketing process experience – Skilled in supporting Sales, Customer and Marketing teams, designing and implementing Salesforce processes that align with business goals.
• Certifications—Salesforce Administrator certification is essential; working towards or holding a Salesforce Sales Cloud or Advanced Administrator certification is a plus.
• Customization skills—Ability to build and maintain custom objects, apps, fields, formula fields, validation rules, flows, and other automation of intermediate complexity.
• Integration mindset—Experience collaborating with data and operations teams to integrate Salesforce with other business systems.
• Stakeholder management—Confidence in coordinating requests from multiple teams, prioritising effectively, and translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Analytical capability—Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to manage and interpret large datasets to inform decision-making.
• Operational and project management skills—Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects at once, and comfortable balancing short-term fixes with long-term improvements.
• Growth mindset—Enthusiasm for ongoing learning, staying up to date with Salesforce releases, and continuously improving processes and personal skills.
• Collaboration and communication—Strong interpersonal skills to work closely with stakeholders, train users, and build adoption across the business
