Microsoft 365 Administrator (Automation & Power BI) – WFH
Overview
We are looking for a Microsoft 365 Administrator with solid experience in managing and optimizing Microsoft 365 services, along with skills in automation and basic reporting/analytics using Power BI. The ideal candidate will support daily operations, improve processes through automation, and create meaningful reports that help the business make data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Administration
• Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, Azure AD, and OneDrive.
• Handle user account administration, licenses, permissions, and security groups.
• Monitor service health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable system performance.
• Implement security and compliance configurations such as MFA, conditional access, and DLP.
• Manage M365 updates, feature rollouts, and documentation.
Automation & Scripting
• Create and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to streamline repetitive administrative tasks.
• Improve processes such as user onboarding/offboarding, reporting, and access management.
• Collaborate with teams to identify areas for automation and efficiency improvements.
Reporting & Analytics
• Build basic Power BI dashboards and reports for operational and business needs.
• Gather and prepare data from M365 services and internal systems.
• Provide insights using simple visualizations, metrics, and trend analysis (deep Power BI expertise not required).
• Support teams with data-related requests and simple report automation.
Security, Compliance & Governance
• Support implementation of governance practices for M365 resources.
• Assist with routine security audits and compliance monitoring.
• Maintain and monitor retention policies, identity protection, and Teams/SharePoint governance.
Support & Documentation
• Provide L2/L3 support for Microsoft 365-related issues.
• Maintain documentation of processes, configurations, and automated workflows.
• Assist in user training on new tools, automations, and reporting dashboards.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as an M365 Administrator.
• Good knowledge of Azure AD, Teams, Exchange Online, and SharePoint.
• Experience with Power Automate and PowerShell for administrative automation.
• Ability to create basic Power BI reports and dashboards (advanced modelling not required).
• Understanding of M365 security, compliance, and governance concepts.
