Payroll Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support payroll processing and employee benefits administration. The ideal candidate has experience handling payroll systems such as Paylocity, managing employee benefits and insurance enrollments, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and support payroll administration accurately and on time
  • Maintain employee payroll records and update information as needed
  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, leave balances, and enrollments
  • Coordinate with insurance providers and employees regarding coverage, claims, and benefits-related inquiries
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding documentation related to payroll and benefits
  • Ensure payroll deductions, taxes, and benefit contributions are correctly applied
  • Generate payroll and benefits reports for management and HR
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information
  • Assist with audits, compliance documentation, and payroll reconciliations
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, timesheets, and benefits
  • Support filing and organization of payroll and HR documents

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in payroll administration, HR support, or benefits coordination
  • Experience using Paylocity or similar payroll systems
  • Knowledge of payroll processes, employee benefits, and insurance administration
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Comfortable working during US business hours

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting US-based payroll operations
  • Familiarity with payroll compliance and benefits administration
  • Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
