Job Description

You will be expected to work on and prepare:

• General Arrangement, plans and elevations
• Electrical layout drawings
• Design drafts to georeferenced coordinates; detailed survey picks up and point-cloud dataset returned from site
• Electrical single-line drawings
• Additional skill set:
o 2D Civil foundation detail drafts
o 2D Structural detailed drafts
o 3D modelling of foundations, equipment, or structures.
• Working with engineering direction to generate design concepts and drawings
• Competency in local regulatory standards, including AS1100, is advantageous.
• Being able to read and understand the relevant standards, specifically outlining the minimalclearances and dimensions of assets and equipment.

Requirements

• Good working knowledge with drafting applications. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Good working knowledge of ArcGIS.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in drafting.
• Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or equivalent (or higher)
• Previous experience in an engineering design and/or construction environment. Working on
electrical utility, renewable, transmission and distribution projects is preferred
• An understanding of AS2067 is advantageous.
• Competency in document management systems such as Aconex.
• Competency in MS Office products, including Excel and Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail is necessary.
