Compliance HR Officer
Job Description:
He/She will also be responsible for reviewing and implementing policies and procedures within HR,
especially in relation to compliance with labor laws such as but not limited to investigation of disciplinary actions, issuance of notices, coordination with retainer/In-house lawyer and handling of
workplace conflicts and labor disputes. He/She will also be in-charge of preparation and reviewing
contracts such as but not limited to employment, consultancy & clients and of maintaining and updating
employee records, and providing professional advice with regard to labor matters. He/she will also
ensure that company insurance policies are well-kept and renewed in a timely manner.
Compliance
• Produce, submit and oversee all reportorial requirements of government agencies such as but not limited to Local government units, DOLE, PEZA, BOI, BI, SSS, Philhealth, HDMF and BIR
• Draft and issue memos to undertake the administrative due process as prescribed by the company handbook and DOLE guidelines
• Responsible for ensuring the timely, effective, and consistent administration of company benefits according to policies and/or regulations and legislation. They will assist in the accurate and efficient payroll services and the timely preparation of payroll-related data, statistics, and other reports.
• Responsible for preparation and review of:
o Statutory remittances
o PEZA Reports
o 2316
• Prepares and reviews various contracts for employment, consultancy, clients & the like.
• Manages the company’s employee records and insurance policies.
• Develops and implements an effective legal compliance program
• Provides managed compliance service to Philippine operations of overseas clients
• Assess product, compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategies.
• Conduct periodic internal reviews to ensure that compliance procedures are followed.
• Conduct or direct the internal investigation of compliance issues.
• Reports to Senior Finance and Administration Manager and In-House Counsel
Audit
• Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and
regulations
• Analyzing and evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc. to determine the financial status of the company
• Identify loopholes and make recommendation to eliminate unnecessary cost and improve financial statements
• Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
• Coordinate with the proper authorities that the audit has been completed
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years of work experience
• Strong background in Compliance and Labor Laws
• With background in processing Business Permits and renewals
• With experience in labor law
• Strong Administration and Documentation skills
• Amenable to work onsite everyday – Makati Office
