Back-End Developer

About the role
As the primary developer in a dedicated project team, you will be critical to the success of a large business transformation project. With the solutions you develop crucial to the business realizing its vision. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions between a range of applications, trading partners, and 3rd party services using the Microsoft Azure platform.

Your duties will include:
• Designing and developing back-end integration solutions using the Azure Integration services, including Logic Apps, Function Apps, API Management, Service Bus & Event Grid.
• Integrating diverse IT systems, both cloud and on-premise, ensuring they work together seamlessly.
• Troubleshooting integration issues and implementing solutions for seamless system functionality.
• Collaborating with project team members and external stakeholders to understand business and technical needs.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of integration processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Recommending enhancements to enterprise architecture and development methodologies.
• Facilitating the transition to support staff for developed solutions.

Skills, qualifications & experience required for the position:
• Bachelor of Science, Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in development
• Experience in developing solutions within the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Experience in CI/CD using Microsoft DevOps.
• Solid experience in development using the Microsoft .Net platform and C#.
• Ability to transform and map data between different formats and structures.

Ideally you will also have the following:
• Experience developing and deploying Microsoft Azure Integration Services such as Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, API Management, and Event Grid.
• Familiarity with integration development best practices and common enterprise integration patterns such as publish-subscribe.
• Experience in data services such as Azure Data Factory and SQL.
• A solid understanding of IT infrastructure, system design, and architecture.
