Network Administrator
Job Description
• Manage the organisation’s LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Being the first point of contact by responding to support emails and answering incoming support calls.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of network services.
• Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and managing incidents to minimise downtime.
• Responsible for monitoring the systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance.
• Establishing and maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as vendors, regulators, and auditors.
• Assisting the IT department and end-users with technical support and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT (computer science, information technology or management information systems).
• Expertise in network protocols, routing, switching, network security, and telecommunications technologies.
• Experience with PABX systems, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), and unified communications solutions.
• Certifications such as CCNP, ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), or equivalent are desirable.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight periodic reporting deadlines
