Sr. Building Designer

Project coordination and plan drafting and design in residential, commercial and industrial building development. 

 Job Description:

• Promote, act, behave & make decisions that are consistent with the vision, values & team norms of Barnson at all times. 
• In conjunction with the Manager and Directors monitor trends and opportunities, and develop, monitor and review the strategic direction of the business 
• Excellent time and project management skills 
• Attendance at staff meetings 
• Provide construction detailing solutions that clearly maintain design intent and consider build-ability 
• Assist the team in maintaining quality delivery outcomes 
• Maintain an awareness of all matters relevant to the design and production of the deliverables for the project 
• Have an excellent knowledge of the BCA and Australian Standards 
• Have excellent attention to detail skills 
• Have a passion for the built environment
