IT Help Desk Administrator & Support Technician

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all support queries through Zoho Desk Support System and escalate when required in a timely manner
  • Provide first line customer service and support for internal team, current and potential clients, suppliers, building management, concierge, and onsite teams
  • Answer 1300 phone and direct enquiries to the appropriate team members
  • Create and terminate users for Microsoft 365, Google Workplace and Zoho clients
  • Setup and configure computers, mobile devices, servers, networking equipment [modems, routers, switches, wireless access points etc.]
  • Provide level 1 & 2 customer service and support for 10 staff and 250 client users for all IT and hardware issues and escalate when required in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with external support providers as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain systems materials, training plans and user manuals
  • Identify tasks that could benefit from system automation and create solutions as directed using API’s and tech stack improvements
  • Continue to improve canned responses and automation
  • Identify I.T service trends and identify potential improvements to our self-service center.
  • Oversee monthly IT environment [endpoint, server, network etc.] maintenance tasks through RMM [Atera] with regular script [powershell] improvements to automate
  • Assist building an IT Help Desk team with Flat Planet
  • Ensuring backup systems [Backupify, Azure Backup, Barracuda, Veeam, Cloud Connect] are working correctly and regularly checked

Job Requirements:

  • High level Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, M365 administration, design and build
  • High level network administration, design and maintenance [using Cisco or Ubiquiti hardware to configure private networks including onsite and cloud-based [Azure] servers]
  • High level onsite and hosted firewall and security software [Preferably Bitdefender or Sophos]
  • Proficient with Ubiquiti, Microsoft Server, Windows 10, Microsoft Azure, AWS, google Workspace, Zoho, TeamViewer, Atera, IT Glue, My Glue, Sophos, Cisco, HP Device Manager
  • Ensuring client servers and resources are available each day

Not Required but Highly Desirable:

  • Experience with Yealink, Twilio and Cloud-Based PBX systems
  • LAN/WAN design and implementation
  • Microsoft Azure billing
