Job Responsibilities

  • Handle all client communications in a prompt and professional manner, both written and verbal
  • Make phone calls and manage communication effectively and efficiently
  • Understand, Prioritise and Manage client priorities, requests and issues across multiple accounts and competing priorities
  • Be proficient in error handling and able to adapt complaint handling policies across different scenarios.
  • Ensure Client Deliverables, Deadlines and Workflows are competed daily
  • Complete / Review the following before issue to client managers or clients;
    • general ledger allocation / document processing
    • bank transaction reconciliation
    • bank statement record reconciliation
    • AP and AR processing processing
    • GST and Control Account reconciliation
  • Train / Coach and Develop yourself and your team in;
    • prioritisation and workflow management
    • client communication and event handling
    • task allocation and completion
    • general ledger allocation / document processing
    • bank transaction reconciliation
    • bank statement record reconciliation
    • AP and AR processing processing
  • Train coach and develop new staff members working on your clients
  • Ensure client files and all systems/tools are being used correctly effectively and efficiently
  • Document and update training on new software, processes or changes for each client
  • Have a familiarity with other Client Manager(s)’ clients in case of emergency
  • Stay up to date with changes to Xero, clients, ATO and relevant Australian legislation
  • Suggest and develop new ideas for process improvement, efficiency and quality enhancement

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Accounting Technology
  • Has experience in processing Accounts Payable and Australian Timesheet based Payroll
  • Experienced in Australian based GST and Tax Accounting compliance and requirements
  • Knowledgeable in GSuite / Google Docs and Microsoft Office (pivot, vlook up, mail clients)
  • Knowledgeable or with hands on experience in XERO
  • Knowledgeable or with experience in Spotlight Reporting or similar
  • Knowledgeable or with experience in Keyless Data entry and Data Integration
  • Confident, fluent and direct communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Willing to work in a deadline-oriented /fast paced environment with multiple and competing priorities
